The hormone norepinephrine is produced during stressful events which increases the speed of more tumors and stimulates the release of a compound in tumor cells, which facilitates the growth of new blood cells upon which cancer cells feed, according to this new report. Researchers studied an incurable head and neck cancer, and the harmful effects of norepinephrine. The cancer cells produced three compounds which accelerated the growth of cancer.
